U002 – Can I restore a previous version of a widget?
It is possible to restore versions of a widget that have been previously shared.
What is a "shared" widget?
A widget counts as "shared" from the moment you've made it available for students at least once, for example by clicking Share from within the widget editor. At that moment, the widget will be saved as version one, and it will also receive a short code.
If you make subsequent changes to the widget, you will have the possibility to Update it. If you do this, a new widget version will be made. You can only restore earlier "versions" of a widget. It is not possible to undo your most recent changes (unless you have updated the widget in the meantime).
How do I restore an earlier version?
In the widget editor, select Revert… from the menu.
You'll get a list of all versions that were shared, choose the version you need and press Revert.
This restores the configuration in the editor. To make these changes visible, click the Update Shared Copy link on the left.
