U093 – "Authorize cookie storage" doesn't respond

When starting BookWidgets from within your Learning Management System, BookWidgets keeps asking to authorize cookie storage, but authorizing cookie storage does not have any effect.

This problem is related to the Edge browser. It is not a known issue in other browsers.

To solve the issue:

  1. Click this link: edge://settings/clearBrowserData.
  2. For Time range, choose "All time".
  3. Check the box for Site permissions.
  4. Confirm.
  5. Close the browser.

Now, try connecting to BookWidgets again. This time around, you should get a pop-up window asking for permission to store BookWidgets cookies. Select Allow.
